Amin Ahsan Islahi
In Farahi’s orchard grew this rose
Fragrance spread distant ‘n close
Shadow to his mentor he remained
Under watchful eyes toiled ‘n trained
A Qur’anic scholar so profound
His epic mastery does resound
Humour ‘n wit in him personified
Mental presence he exemplified
Temper at times he utterly lost
But apology he instantly sought
Kind he was with a heart of gold
Undaunted, courteous and bold
May God admit into Paradise
This soul so noble and wise
